Pivoting Grip System
Far more reliable than suction cups, used by other brands' guitar support, our grippers firmly grasp the edge of the instrument.
Our unique (patent applied for) pivoting system compensates for any guitar body depth variation, and grips at all four points equally.
The WS-GS3 utilizes a locking ball and socket mechanism to attach the support pillar to the clamping cradle.
This gives the player the freedom to set up whatever angle they choose between the clamping cradle and the leg rest.
To stow the GS3, simply unscrew the Retaining Cup to remove the support pillar, fold it down, and you're ready to pack your GS3 into a guitar case and hit the road.

Choose from the entry level adjusting screw model (GS3-SCR) or the ultra convenient flip lever / cam lock model (GS3-LEV).
Note - Most of our users prefer the -LEV version.

The GS3 is much the same as the GS2, with a few minor improvements.
First of all, the leg rest is wider, with a gentler curve, providing greater contact with the player's leg.
The other change is a slight (2°) increase in the mount angle between the cradle and support pillar.

The GS3 leg rest is made of molded PC/ABS blend, with anodized aluminum insert for light weight, comfort, and durability.
The curvature is an eliptal shape, with gently contoured corners - much greater comfort for hours of practice and performing time

For those who need greater lift or vertical positioning of the instrument, the HLK-2 Lift Kit is available. The HLK-2 will provide approximately an additional 120 mm of lift. Available at retailers stocking the GS2 Guitar Lift.

Lift Kit - For Greater Lift ​
Angle Block - For Increased Range of Angulation​
Some users will feel the need for a greater range of angular adjustment between the Cradle (the portion that clamps the instrument) and the Support Pillar. The AB-1 can be mounted in a number of different orientations to provide an extremely wide range of angulation.
Those who opt for a more upright playing position will be especially interested in getting the AB-1 accessory.
GS2-JZZ - Slim Line Version
For players using narrower bodied instrument - such as transition instruments, hollow bodied electrics, and ukuleles, this model is well suited to match your needs. The grippers adjust to a range of 50-82 mm, and otherwise the support retains all the features of the standard GS2.

Tips, Tricks, and Additional Information
The GS3 Guitar Support is highly customizable, and designed to accomodate a wide range of playing styles and guitar postioning. Most players will want to experiment to get the setup that feels right for them. Unlike other products, the Woodside Guitars Guitar Support offers nearly unlimited adjustment possibilities!
We encourage you to invest the time to really get to know the support, and what works best for your playing style. And - change it around from time to time. That's also easy to do!
Once you get the setup that's right for you, you will be rewarded with the unique combintation of comfort, functionality, and stability. it will be very convenient to attach and detatch (especially the -LEV version). Every time you pick up your guitar, you'll spend more time playing - less time fussing with the (e.g suction cups) support.
Note that the Woodside Guitar support can easily be disassembled to stow easily in most guitar cases.
